Our Story
From Pain to Purpose
I’ve faced cold nights on the streets, hidden battles, and the struggle to rebuild a life from fragments. Today, as the founder of the Aisling Hope Foundation, my journey reflects resilience and hope born from hardship.
I grew up in poverty, the eldest of three children, watching my father struggle to provide. In an attempt to escape these challenges, I entered a marriage that became abusive, leaving my son and me homeless and neglected. Determined to change our lives, I left Kenya to work abroad, enduring mistreatment and loneliness. Despite these trials, I held onto hope and a vision for a better future.
Years later, a decade-long health battle tested my strength, further straining my family and marriage. Yet, every setback fueled my resolve to create a foundation that would uplift others facing similar struggles.
The Aisling Hope Foundation was born from this determination. Since its inception, we’ve transformed lives—supporting over 500 children, helping young mothers rebuild their lives, and empowering girls to stay in school. Small acts of care, like providing sanitary pads or educational support, have created ripples of change in communities.
My story is about turning pain into purpose and survival into strength. Through the Aisling Hope Foundation, we’re building brighter futures, proving that even in the darkest moments, hope can lead the way.
